What a wonderful job on the website. Thanks to Carmen on an excellent, informative & well presented site. Kudos.
Great site! A perfect way to keep in touch and share information.
Hey Carmen,Fantastic job! I wouldn't change a thing. Very clear and understandable. Wes
A second comment.....do you explain the logo anywhere on the web-site? Thanks, Wes
Thank-you - we will try to put explanation and history (story) behind logo on site in near future.
Hi Carmen,I noticed on the links that the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples are not on the list. I believe that Michel members would be interested.Kim
Very well done, people can keep in touch and updated on information. Thank you Syd
My grandma was Joyce Callihoo and I just wanted to say I am so glad to see this website. I am super excited to learn more about the Band and keep up on the events that are going on. Thanks for creating this web site! Angel Love xxoo Jaci
Thanks Carmen for easy to use and informative site!
Just wondering if there is ever going to be pictures or native art regarding the michel band. I would love to see some of my heritage posted that way.
Very nice logo. Are you going to add Alberta Environment to the list?
Is it possible to try and put some of the family tree's on the website as well? It might be a great way for people to clarify where they are in the family and who they are related to!
I teach Navajo & Hopi in AZ. Fabulouswebsite for me to learn about Callihoufamily, Cree & Iroquois. My Great Grandma (Big Granny) was Victoria Callihou. Anne/Annie Boris (LittleGranny) Is there any info on thesepeople?
I too had a grandmother Victoria Calihoo from Michel Band and would be very interested in sharing some history with you.Hopefully talk to you soon!
This site is well done. I like the pics of the Chief & Council. Good information site. Way to go, I'm impressed.
My grandmother was Alice Ottie /Callihoo.I was happy to find a site providing information on the Michel First Nation. I was wondering if your efforts have included contacting the media to have them run a story on how the government has been dodging the issues facing the Michel Fist Nation. There is nothing like the media spot light to bring the politicians a runnin.
Rosalind, if you read this I hope that you will contact me. It has been a lot of years since we have communicated. I am impressed with the website, lots of good information. I hope I am still a member of the Band although my contact information is probably outdated. I will look forward to hearing from you.
Really nice site. It's great to see there is info out there. My grannie was Louise (Labonte) Gallagher and with her gone there is not many places to get this info, so thank you for taking the time to put this together.
Hi my name is Linda Buffalo i am looking for Stella Violet Callihoo or any of her children , she is my aunt would love to hear from any of you
Agree with all the above. I've known a lot from this site.
The blog was absolutely fantastic! Lot of great information which can be helpful in some or the other way.

I find it interesting that the Treaty Six Chiefs passed Resolution #005on 20 May 2008 to recognize Michel First Nation as a member of Treaty Six. At the same time there is no mention of Michel Nation on their website http://www.treatysix.org/. Does anyone have an opinion as to the rationale explaining this apparent contradiction in terms of intent?
Your welcoming message is well-written, and I like it very much! Hopefully, your entire blog will gain its popularity in a short while! Thanks a lot for sharing!
